Why did I choose these hotels? What qualities do they have? I don’t have a formal list, but I mostly required that more than common spaces had to be colorfully designed, plus having a design aesthetic that isn’t boring or “old”.

I’m particularly drawn to the vibrant options in North America, such as The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach and The Goodtime Hotel in Miami.
I also appreciate the inclusion of more boutique hotels like the Hotel Genevieve in Louisville.
I’m an avid traveler and have a soft spot for accommodations
